Student Center Activities

This resource includes activity plans, masters, and guides on providing differentiated instruction through reading centers.

District Level Use: These resources can be used by district level personnel to inform coaches and reading specialists about the importance of providing targeted practice for students while the teacher provides focused small group, teacher-led instruction.

School Level Use: These resources can be used by the reading coach to implement a series of informational sessions for grade level teams learning how to utilize the student center activities. Between sessions, teachers would benefit from implementing selected activities, sharing their feedback, and adding this information to their center activity files.
