Use of the Progress Monitoring and Reporting Network (PMRN), Florida's Web-based data management system for the reporting of student gains in reading, is open to all Florida schools that follow Florida's reading assessment schedule.

Schools must register to use the PMRN for reporting scores from the Florida Assessments for Instruction in Reading, including scores received from the K-2 Electronic Scoring Tool (K-2 EST) and the 3-12 Web-based Assessment Module (3-12 WAM). Schools using the PMRN to report hours through the Professional Development Log for Reading/Literacy Coaches (Coach's Log) must also register.

Assessment Schedule

Schools registering to use the PMRN must:

• Progress Monitor students using the Florida Assessments for Instruction in Reading,

• have all staff that will be assessing the students properly trained in the administration of the Florida Assessments,

• follow the testing schedule and score submission dates listed below.
        Assessment 1 = instructional days 6-40
        Assessment 2 = instructional days 66-100
        Assessment 3 = instructional days 136-170

Additional Requirements

All schools registering to use the PMRN must:

• complete (by the principal) the online registration,

• notify the District Information Systems (DIS) office of:
• the school's intent to utilize the PMRN.
• the requirement that the Student Demographic and Staff Demographic files be submitted to the FCRR along with the FLDOE's survey 6 and that the students being Progress Monitored be assigned a Responsible Instructor of Reading.

• note that all students rostered in the PMRN must have Broad Screen/Progress Monitoring Test scores Submitted or be Withdrawn from the PMRN.

Special Notes

• Registering to use the PMRN does NOT order the assessment materials.

• By clicking the "Yes" radio button under "Students Added by Surveys 2 & 3" principals elect to have newly enrolled students added to the list of students in the PMRN, when the survey data is imported. Any new student in the survey, in the grade marked, will be added to the list of students in the school, but not assigned to a class.

• Clicking "No" indicates that the principal does not want students added to the list, however, demographic information for existing students will be updated.

• The school start date is the first day of classes for students (first instructional day). When registering, please indicate the school start date for students. This date is used to establish the school's Assessment Calendar.

• There is not a charge for using the PMRN.
