Schedule
Applicant must be available to work during traditional public school hours (7:30 am - 3:30 pm), at least 3 mornings per week, Monday through Friday.
Salary Range for Requisition
$8.00 per hour to negotiable, commensurate with experience and education.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include individualized assessment of preschool aged children and may also include classroom observations for one or more of three large scale intervention projects being conducted by faculty at the Florida Center for Reading Research. Person hired will be trained on child assessments, standardized observation protocols and may also be trained on other project related tasks.
Requirements
Applicant should havestrong English language skills, reliable transportation that would support their need to travel to local school as required by their work schedule, experience working with young children in educational settings and availability to work at least 3 mornings of the 5 day work week period.
Qualifications
Atleast an Associate degree.
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree along with experience working with children ages 2 through 7.
Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of early childhood education are also preferred.
