Kindergarten Group 3

This group appears ready to move strongly into phonemic decoding activities, but you should also support the further development of their phonemic awareness skills (particularly segmenting and blending). In addition, these students need lots of practice reading decodable text and increasing their fluency in reading words. As with the other groups, it is important to continue to develop their vocabulary and comprehension to enhance their understanding of words.
