The PCER project is a 4-year randomized longitudinal study to evaluate the effectiveness of two literacy-focused preschool curricula. Participants in this project are children attending Pre-K programs in schools in Leon and Taylor County, Florida, school districts. The project will help determine the most beneficial Pre-K curriculum to prepare students for reading instruction in Kindergarten, first and second grade.
