Second Grade Group 4

With six students, Group 4 is the largest instructional group. These students have met or exceeded the mid-year oral reading fluency (ORF) target and two of these students have surpassed the end of year target. In the sample reading block schedule, this group is scheduled for small group instruction three times a week, for ten to twenty minutes. Small group instruction should provide instruction and activities that will enrich their oral reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
